Ben Atlas Jones

Ben Atlas Jones, 77, of Yadkinville, NC, passed away on November 2, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Health in North Wilkesboro, NC.

Ben was born on December 12, 1942 in Sanford, NC.  He was the son of the late Roy Benjamin Jones and Joye Elizabeth (Dowd) Jones.

Ben served in the U.S. Army for 10 1/2 years.  He retired from the Town of Kure Beach, NC after working for 32 plus years in the Public Works Department.  He enjoyed surf fishing while living near the ocean. He also enjoyed talking with people. 

Ben is survived by his wife, Frances Imogean Jones and his son, Benjie R. Jones (Teri). Two sisters, Diane Deitz (Joe) and Judy Keesee (Dave), and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Also his dog, Brownie.

Ben looked forward to the Bible's promise of a paradise restored to the earth.
