Doris F Cain

Doris F. Cain 87, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away April 4, 2019 at Yadkin Nursing Care Center in Yadkinville, NC.

Doris was born August 31, 1931 in Yadkin County, NC, a daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Dickerson) Adams. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty eight years Thomas Stephen Cain, and brothers Hugh, Leo, and Sam Adams.

Doris graduated from East Bend High School and attended Guilford College. She worked for Sara Lee as a secretary for forty five years before retirement in 1996. She was a member of Winston-Salem Friends Church.

Survivors include her daughter Dawn Cain- Fulp; brothers Mahlon(Audrey), Jim(Maggie), and Bill (Kathy) Adams; sister Sue (Joe) Branson; grandchildren Aurora, and Zoe Fulp; sister in law Shirley Adams.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
