Edward Thomas Nettles

Edward Thomas Nettles, 79, of Yadkinville, NC entered his heavenly home on December 12, 2020.

Edward was born April 9, 1941 in Cooke County, IL.  He was the son of the late Carl Nettles and Ann Yarbrough Nettles.  In addition to his parents, Edward is preceded in death by a son Edward T. Nettles and a brother Joe Nettles.

In life Edward graduated from college with an Associate’s Degree and worked as an electrician.  Edward worked as an electrician with Strohs Brewery for 25 + years until he retired.  Edward also served in the United States Army.  In 1981 Edward married the love of his life Roselynn S. Nettles in Davie County, NC.  Edward attended church at Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was also a member.  Edward was a part of many clubs including American Legion and Yadkinville Lions Club.  He was a people person and was loved by many.

Edward leaves behind to share his memories, his loving wife Roselynn Nettles, a son James Nettles, and daughters Linda Gregory and Rebecca Pyrlt.
