Everette L. Brisendine, Jr.

   Everette Lewis Brisendine Jr., 77, of Yadkinville, NC went home to be with the Lord on December 23, 2021.

   Mr. Brisendine was born July 27, 1944, in Covington, Virginia, to Everette and Gladys (Brown) Brisendine.

   He graduated from Covington High School where he played on the baseball team. He continued his education as an Electrician's Apprentice with Newport News Shipbuilding and later Virginia Electric and Power. Mr. Brisendine spent 35 plus years working for power companies in Virginia, Louisiana and North Carolina as an electrician and in management. He also served in the Army Reserves.

   He enjoyed watching and attending Nascar races, car shows, gardening, watching baseball occasionally, and long car rides exploring North Carolina and Virginia back roads with his wife Connie. He was an active member of Solid Rock Baptist Church in Yadkinville.

   He is survived by his wife Connie; his three sisters, Betty Treynor of Covington VA, Virginia Ball of Newport News VA, and Donna Dobbins (Harvey) of Wake Forest NC; Children, Cherie (David) Chretien of Dequincy LA, Brian (Jenny) Brisendine of Franklinville NC, and Shawn (Susan) Brisendine of Sanford NC; four stepchildren; sixteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

   He was preceded in death by his father and mother.
