Henry Sharpe, Jr. Obituary
Mr. HW Sharpe, Jr., (Junior) of Harmony passed away peacefully on June 27, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Junior was born on December 3, 1942 in Iredell Co., NC, son of the late HW Sharpe Sr., and Hattie (Shore) Sharpe.
In life Junior was a tobacco farmer who drove an oil truck for Yadkin oil, and B&J Farm Supply prior to his career in the funeral business with Mackie-Gentry Funeral Home and later Gentry Family Funeral Service.
He is survived by his wife of almost 61 years, Ruby Hutchens Sharpe and children Sheila Sharpe, Angie Wooten (Steve), Chris Sharpe (Kathy), Brad Sharpe (Tammy), and Amy Kestler (Jimmy), eight grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, a sister June Carol McCoy (John) and a brother Roger Sharpe.
A private family graveside service was held at Sandy Springs Baptist Church Cemetery officiated by Rev. David Kiser.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County.
