James Leroy Eades Jr.

James Leroy Eades Jr., 59, of Hamptonville, NC, died Friday, March 27, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

James was born November 21, 1960 in Iredell County, NC, a son of the late James Sr. and Virginia (McDaniels) Eades. He was also preceded in death by a brother Jeffrey Wayne Eades I.

In life James attended Iredell County Schools. He worked for Tyson Foods of Harmony for fifteen years. Jr. enjoyed panning for gold (he even found a flake), trains, and fishing. He was recently able to take a beach trip and get his feet in the sand.

Survivors include his loving wife of thirty five years Paula (Cadigan) Eades, sons Roger Eades (Robin), Allen Eades, Mark Eades, Dilan Eades all of Hamptonville, daughter Cynthia Mejalli (Sam) of Charlotte, brother Donnie Eades of Statesville, sisters Brenda Davis of Statesville, Janice McCoy (Terry), and Judy Dishmond (Reggie) both of Stony Point, NC, grandchildren Rebecca, Salem, and Layth.

The family will hold an outdoor gathering at the residence Monday March 30, 2020 from 2:00PM- 4:00PM. To best comply with the Corona virus guidelines social distancing will be observed. if you are showing symptoms or have a sickness please do not attend.
