Timothy Purdy Obituary

Timothy William Purdy, 43, of Mocksville, NC, departed this world on July 1, 2021 from Forsyth Novant Medical Center.

Tim was born on March 24, 1978 in Onondaga County, NY. He was the son of Frank Lawrence Purdy and Robin Marie (Lay) Byers.

Tim attended schools in Forsyth County and was self-employed for 20 plus years. He worked in construction and performed home improvement jobs. One of Tim’s favorite things in life was to watch NASCAR races.

Tim is survived by his loving parents Frank Purdy and Robin Byers, sons “Timmy” Dean Purdy, Jacob Robbins, and Kolby Lawrence Purdy, a brother Frank Dewayne Purdy, step-brother Johnny Mabe, a sister Krystal Danielle Purdy, step-sisters Heather Axtell and Jennifer Leigh Mabe.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Tim at a later date.
